What customers say?

“ Nothing better than waking up and ordering a fresh plate of Fatte, foul, balila or hummus,This is a place where you can eat like royals for under $10,highly recommend eating here especially for breakfast. Staff is a 3/5 since they are a bit understaffed and the atmosphere is also a 3 since all you see around you are plastic wrap and the stretched street of mar Elias. ”

“ 10/10, probably best breakfast I‘ve had so far! ⭐ Foul bil zubda blew me away, seriously (the normal foul was only okay in comparison). Hummus bi mukassarat (with nuts) is the real deal and the cheese omelette, don’t even get me started… A plate roughly cost 30.000LL (October 2021), great place for the quality and quantity. I will be back! ”

“ This place has been around for ages, and you can tell from the moment you walk in that it’s a long time favorite for a lot of people. There’s always a steady flow of customers, from early morning until after lunchtime, and once you taste the food, it makes total sense. Their menu focuses on the classic Lebanese breakfast meets brunch dishes .. fatte, foul, balila, hummus, eggs !! all done in that simple, confident, homestyle way that’s getting harder and harder to find. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and honestly very fairly priced for the quality and portion size you get. It’s the kind of place where you walk out feeling full, satisfied, and not like you just overpaid for something basic. One thing I really noticed is the portion of vegetables they serve alongside the foul. It’s a lot. Like… really, really a lot. So much that I found myself wondering what happens to all those untouched herbs and veggies after each guest leaves. Do they toss them out after barely 10% is eaten, or do they reuse what looks untouched for the next plate? I genuinely hope it’s the first option, but the quantity definitely made me question it. Another point worth mentioning is the cleanliness. The food is great, the staff is warm and welcoming, but the prep area and behind the counter could use more attention. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it’s noticeable if you’re someone who pays attention to hygiene. Overall, it’s a beloved spot with tasty, authentic dishes, fair prices, and a longstanding reputation just be prepared for huge portions of veggies and a bit of a casual approach to cleanliness. If flavor and authenticity are your priorities, you’ll definitely enjoy it. ”

“ Awesome Lebanese breakfast place. We got several items off the menu including the fettah, the msoubaha, the hummus with lahme, etc. The food was great, the service was excellent. Giving 4 stars only because it’s not the best breakfast I’ve had in Lebanon and the seating options are quite limited. Definitely a spot worth checking out, and I’ll be back!! ”

“ They have offer for Ramadan. They have suhur offer for only 6500ll including labneh, balila, foul, hummus , tea, dibs w t7ine. I ordered fatteh b laban. It was really delicious. I recommend this place it's like a small cafe or popular restaurant though ”

“ I wouldn’t really call this a breakfast spot, since their menu is more about fatte, foul, balila, hummus, and eggs, which they serve all morning and into lunchtime. But one thing is for sure, the name Le Professeur couldn’t be more fitting. Once you’ve tasted their food, you’ll see that these guys are absolute pros at what they do. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and the service is just as warm and welcoming. You instantly feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. That being said, the only real downside is the cleanliness especially behind the counter, in the kitchen, and up in the prep area. It doesn’t take away from how good the food is, but it’s something you’ll definitely notice. So if you’re picky about spotless kitchens, then this might not be your cup of tea, even though the food itself is absolutely fantastic. ”
